Ran 16 miles--yes, 16 with Marcee on Saturday. We finished in 2 hours 28 minutes. It wasn't the prettiest performance but I finished and not too bad of a time. I really am starting to believe I can run this marathon!
We stopped pretty frequently for water, and some power bars which all stayed down and I didn't cramp up.
Only had a sore knee for the rest gummies of the day but other than that it was a lovely run that began at 6:45 am!
Going to see how I feel and what the week holds before I make and running plans. Most likely going to try 6 on Tuesday and maybe 3 or 4 on Thursday and 20 on Saturday--but we shall see what the body says.
